do's

  1. Avoid clutter
  2. Test your links
  3. Check for spelling
  4. Use a variety of pictures
  5. Put alt tag on images
  6. Organize your code
  7. Use tables
  8. Stick with standard layout
  9. Limit the number of fonts
  10. Use fonts big enough to see
  11. Use links that work
  12. Think small
  13. Make alt tags short and sweEt
  14. Use images
  15. Plan out your website before you work on it
  16. Center your heading
  17. Make your text darker than your background OR vise versa
  18. Make your background transparent
  19. Use animated logos,bullets,and icons
  20. Don't use any nude pictures or dirty language

  1. Dont copy and paste someone elses work
  2. Dont use italics
  3. Dont use h5 and h6 tags
  4. Dont bog your site down with too many animated gifs and music
  5. Dont use the same pictures
  6. Dont have long folder names
  7. Dont use alot of colors in your page
  8. Dont center all your text
  9. Dont type your text in all caps
  10. Dont make your page where you have to scroll down alot
  11. Dont make the image to big
  12. Dont use too many moving images
  13. Dont be greedy woth pop ups etc...
  14. Dont use page counters
  15. Dont have music on your web page
  16. Dont have a boring site
  17. Dont type in other languages
  18. Dont have scrolling text
  19. Dont make your page too wide
  20. Dont use busy background images
