 Hello, welcome to art and pre-webmastering class! My name is Mrs. Kennedy and I will be your teacher. I have taught art, Reading and English, yearbook, newspaper, and for the last nine years, webmastering. I have been at Westwood Junior High for 15 years.
My primary field of teaching is art. I love to create art as well as teach art. I recieved my BFA from the University of Mary Hardin Baylor in 1992. My second field of teaching is webmastering, which I have grown to love almost as much as art because designing web pages is not only technical, but also creative. In addition, my students and I also edit the Junior High pages on the district's website and make sure to send in announcements and accomplishments to the "Westwood Happenings", a special section in the Sunday edition of the Palestine Herald Press. We always have something to be proud of around here. Go Panthers!
I am looking forward to a great year and and a chance to get to know each and every one of you. I also look forward to sharing my love of art and webmastering with your child.
