Hello, welcome to art and pre-webmastering class! My name is Mrs. Kennedy and I will be your teacher. I have taught art, Reading and English, yearbook, newspaper, and for the last seven years, webmastering. I have been at Westwood Junior High for 15 years. I am a wife and the mother of four boys. I enjoy art, music, reading, gardening, and my animals which include three dogs and 10 pigeons.

My primary field of teaching is art. I love to create art as well as teach art. I recieved my BFA from the University of Mary Hardin Baylor in 1992. My second field of teaching is webmastering, which I have grown to love almost as much as art because designing web pages is not only technical, but also creative. In addition, my students and I also edit the junior high pages on the district's website and make sure to send in announcements and accomplishments for the Junior High to the "Westwood Happenings", special section in the Sunday edition of the Palestine Herald Press. Go Panthers! We always have something to be proud of around here.

I am looking forward to a great year and and a chance to get to know each and every one of you and your child. I also look forward to sharing my love of art and webmastering with your child.
