Design an Ad is an annual competition among students in the area. It is sponsored by the Palestine Herald Press. The purpose of the competition is to have students design an advertisement for one of the local businesses. It is open to all different age groups. We competed in the 7th-9th grade division. |

Students Place in Design an Ad |
Eighth graders, Katie P. and Harley S., both placed in this year's Design an Ad competition sponsored by the Palestine Herald Press. Katie won first place with her ad for All Star Ford and Mercury while Harley placed second with her ad for Artistic Signs and Graphics. First place received $100 and second place received $50. Other students were also printed in the special edition which came out in the Sunday paper. Congratulations to all! |
